Ross McDonald has 17 years experience in corporate finance, corporate and investment banking and entrepreneurship. Ross is President of Clean West, a corporate finance boutique that advises clean energy projects and clean technology ventures on M&A, expansion capital and financing matters.
Ross was recently Senior Vice President for Stirling Mercantile, a mid-market corporate finance firm in Vancouver, Canada; spent nine years with and Salomon Brothers in London, England, as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy; qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Ernst & Young's Capital Markets Group; and co-founded a real estate refurbishment firm.
Ross has been involved with numerous corporate finance transactions. Ross obtained his MBA from London Business School, England, is a Chartered Accountant member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and obtained his B.Acc. from Glasgow University., Scotland. Ross writes for multiple publications including the Cleantech Investor magazine and the Association of Corporate Growth’s Mergers & Acquisitions Journal. Ross mentors multiple growth companies and is a guest speaker in business schools and universities.
