Shell, the energy giant, has a 'Springboard' fund that offers grant financing to UK small firms that seek to reduce greenhouse gases.
The current, fourth, round of applications to Shell Springboard must be submitted by 7 November 2008. Awards, between £20,000 to £40,000, will be made in early 2009.
Shell Springboard is now open for a fourth round of applications, for small businesses who have a product of service that reduces greenhouse gases.
Application criteria are as follows:
(a) UK based company
(b) product or service that reduces greenhouse gases, be innovative and commercially viable
(c) business operational for at least three months, as a sole trader or a company, employing fewer than 250 people
